Adoptable Animals
Seen
here are only a few of the animals we have for adoption. If
you are interested in a pet seen here, you MUST come to the shelter and
bring the animal's ID#. Because of the volume of animals we deal
with, there is no guarantee the animal you are interested in is
still here. We have over 100 adoptable dogs and cats on
a regular basis and more arrive daily. To see all the wonderful
animals available for adoption, please visit

Our heartfelt gratitude to our
cat Satellite Adoption Centers:
We desire nothing more than to see each animal within our realm
of influence have a life of security, safety and love. To that
end we provide shelter for stray, homeless and unwanted animals,
promote the adoption of animals, and seek to reunite lost pets
and their owners.
Web Pet Project
The animals and/or descriptions seen on this page are thanks to a
volunteer effort aimed at helping the adoptable animals at the
Louisiana SPCA be seen. If you would like to be
involved with this very special project, please contact our
Volunteer Program Coordinator.
All interested must have submitted a
volunteer
application, completed the volunteer orientation, be over 18
year-old or a
Care
Cadet whose completed all training and been signed-off to
work independently with the animals. |
